Meet Our Teaching Staff

Our teachers are all fully qualified Montessori teachers, many with bachelor and graduate degrees.  Our classrooms are NIDO (6 weeks to 24 months),  Orange Room (18 - 36 months),  Blue Room (30 - 47 months), Red Room (Pre-K to K age)

Ms. Elva Medina  (NIDO)

Ms. Elva has been in the child care profession  (specifically infant/toddler care) for more than 2 decades.  She is a loving, nurturing, and caring child care provider.  Families love the attention and love she gives to the infants under her care.

Ms.  Michelle Kennedy (NIDO) 

Ms. Michelle's jovial nature is a wonderful treat to the infants enrolled in the NIDO room.  Ms. Michelle loves to read books to the children and tell them stories. She also has more than a decade of childcare experience.

Ms. Tesja De Veyra (NIDO)

Ms. Tesja has been a Montessori teacher for 3 years now and currently pursuing a degree in Sociology.  She loves working with the infants under her care and she loves to prepare art activities for them.

 Ms. Yessica Vargas (Orange Room)

Ms.  Yessica was a child care provider at Orange Coast Community College Child care division for a few years prior to joining International Christian Montessori Academy of Costa Mesa.  She loves working with the toddlers in her class and her sweet and nurturing personality make the children feel "at home" in her class

Ms.  Paola Santos (Orange Room)

Ms. Santos has been with ICMA for more than 5 years and she loves working here because of the great camaraderie among the staff.  She is loved by her students because she provides quality Montessori Education and structure in the classroom.

Ms. Ana Ramirez (Blue Room)

Ms. Ramirez has been with ICMA for almost a decade now and her dedication to her profession and the love and care she provides for her students has endeared her to a lot of families. She provides a perfect blend of Montessori structure and a nurturing factor that makes her class a wonderful Montessori classroom.

Ms. Celia Escamilla (Blue Room)  

Ms. Celia is a very patient, loving, and wonderful educator.  She provides a loving and nurturing environment in class and the children under her care just cannot help but love Ms. Celia.  

Ms. Zaira Camargo (Red Room) 

Ms. Camargo is a very artistic, precise, and wonderful educator.  She provides a quality Montessori education among her pre-K students.  She loves teaching through Art and the children are drawn to it and become interested in learning because of the fun environment she provides in her class. 

Ms.  Florie Silva (Red Room)

Ms. Florie's warm and loving personality make her an amazing teacher and children love her for her sincere and utmost care and attention given to them.
