Our beautiful, new facility is home to over 100 students. Our grounds include three separate play yards, exclusive to each of our age groups; from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
Each classroom has a distinctive style and personality, with authentic environments. Our highly qualified teachers and assistants, facilitate the learning process by ensuring that, at every age level, each student receives individual attention.
Utilizing the Montessori philosophy, teachers are challenged to create an “academic forum” that engages the mind, the hand and most importantly the heart.

Q: What is the curriculum and how is the Montessori philosophy used within our school?
A: Our curriculum is based on the teachings and examples of Maria Montessori. There are many facets to the Montessori view of education. Some highlights of this philosophy include the growth of a child toward greater independence, responsibility in a group, a mature sense of justice and fairness, understanding the global perspective in terms of a peaceful earth, self-discipline, enjoyment of leadership, and learning to problem-solve. It includes a prepared environment, which allows the child to experience daily from the following areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, and Cultural Subjects (Foreign Cultures, Languages, Music and Art). Our goal is to come along side with you in developing “Christ-like Character” and integrity that motivates your child toward excellence and good social interaction.
Q: There is always talk about how each child has individualized instruction. How are all these subjects taught at different rates among the children?
A: At our school, each subject is taught in a careful, step-by-step manner that ensures the child will advance with full understanding. Students are taught to make connections within and between subjects--and also between school and life. Our teachers motivate the students, by showing them the importance of the knowledge they are working to acquire. Every child is challenged to achieve, and is allowed to progress at his own pace. The proper content taught by the right method engenders real enthusiasm for learning.
Q: How long may my child attend and what grade does CMA go up through?
A: CMA Las Vegas grows with our children in order to fulfill the needs of both our community and our esteemed families.
Each child is enrolled with the understanding that continued attendance at the school depends upon the child’s adjustment to the environment and ability to benefit from the curriculum and care offered by the school. Although ongoing enrollment is always dependent on the child’s adjustment, the first few weeks are particularly critical in observing and assessing the child’s ability to benefit from our program. As a note to the parent, of a child in our facility; those who repeatedly display aggressive or uncooperative behavior toward teachers or unacceptable behavior toward other children and, does not respond to requests to modify such behavior, will be advised to seek alternative care for their child.
